The inventor of the monochrome and the happening, Yves Klein (1928–1962) was a true prodigy. His career lasted only eight years, but he managed nonetheless to shake the foundations of modern art. Although his name might only evoke the celebrated IKB (International Klein Blue) and monochrome canvases, his work extended well beyond the realm of painting.
François Lévy Kuentz won the prize for the best portrait at the 25th FIFA (International Festival of Films on Art in Montreal) for his film, as well as the Etoile SCAM 2008 Award.
