In 1973–1978 a number of films at the animation department of Tallinnfilm, the only filmstudio of the Estonian Soviet Socialist Republic were produced. The films were made in conjunction with artists influenced by Western pop art: Aili Vint, Leonhard Lapin, Sirje Runge, Priit Pärn, Ando Keskküla and Rein Tammik.
