Eye Over Prague

The powerful story of Jan Kaplicky, one of the most gifted architects of his generation. He fled Prague along with many of his cultural contemporaries during the social unrest of 1968 in Czechoslovakia. Almost forty years later, he won an international architectural contest, returned to his home town of Prague, but faced the biggest challenge of his career: an unrealised architectural achievement, the new National Library in Prague. It meant the world to him.
