David Hockney: A Bigger Picture

Filmed over a period of three years, this observational documentary captures British artist David Hockney (b. 1937) at a crisis point in his art and life as he approaches the age of seventy. After twenty-five years in California, he returns to Yorkshire, where he decides to reinvent his painting from scratch, working throughout the season and in all weather.
